The Magic continues...

We have had a great purpose for returning to Larnaca for another weekend; the flamingos!!

Ermm...nope...there was none. Not a single fabulous flamingo was parading in the salt lake area, they might have left earlier this year. Needless to say we were heart broken and had to look for a different kind of entertainment, but what could be equally amazing as those pink birds??

Oh yes, we found the sweetest Heaven on earth, the Hans and Gretel candy shop, just opened in the center of Larnaka.

Chimney cakes, pick&mix, ice cream, waffle..you name it, and all this in a magical fairy tale world. The decoration was amazingly detailed and colorful. Hanging cotton candies and lollipops, hidden "castle" for the kids, gummies from the floor up to the ceiling..

Emma of course was more than excited to get her cotton candy feat ice cream cone - I still can't believe she ate it all. At some point I literally had to tell the guy behind the stall to stop putting more sprinkles and chocolate on it. I must admit I had a big fear of a super hyper child later on!
