It's been 4 years since we've seen this colorful hidden gem last time, so before we leave for good, another visit with a 1 night stay was a must.
By now, no visitors are allowed within the walls, unless you book a stay or rent the venue area for a private event. I do see the upside of this, I must say I terribly enjoyed being completely alone there without any disturbing noise or onlookers. Though I must add, the former glory of the common area is gone for now. The wooden floor, chairs and tables could do with some TLC, but as I said, this is a price we were happy to pay for a quiet, relaxing and secluded stay.
Once we arrived, the host Nour opened the gate and showed us the way along the Earth and Color houses, down to our chosen Blue one.
The grand entrance
The Blue house
Probably I won't make mistake by saying that this is the most popular house of all.
It's decorated in Moroccan - Indian style, exactly the colors I love. The way they painted over the furniture was amazing, so detailed and bright, great artwork from a creative hand.
Our only struggle was the steep steps. It's definitely not for faint hearted people, you must watch every step of yours, especially when coming back down.
But once you're up, you won't want to leave...
I mean look at that window! I just need it for those rainy or snowy days with a good book and a cup of coffee.
Relaxation has a different meaning to us.
I just can't stay still, for me a quiet walk and exploration is more resting than a nap.
Hubby might suffer from my way of relaxing, but in here, all I wanted to do was wander around and check every corner of the entire place.
I was very very tempted to open the doors of the other houses and peek in, but at the end I resisted the urge and walked away.
The fairy land
The gate to the paradise
This gorgeous mosaic gate separates the front and back yard of the houses and opens up the path to the venue area. It's an ultimate 360' experience with every direction well worth of admiration.
The other side
The Venue
Last time we visited, the venue was full of chatting people, enjoying their drinks at the tables, chilling in the hammocks or on the oversized cushions. There was music and vibrant atmosphere. That was a different era.
Now it was quiet. I almost felt abandoned or forgotten, or as we were trespassers, arriving too late to a party.
The doors
Every door has a different story and hides wonders behind them. The details were immaculate and inspiring. Every time I looked at them, there was a new thing to discover and stare at.
Besides, we never knew how many cats will be waiting outside the next time we open our door. They were very persistent and took every chance to sneak inside the house.
The green
It can never get green enough. This was my personal fave spot. I happily left hubby in bed just to sneak out and have my morning coffee there, surrounded by singing birds, dripping water and total calmness. It was priceless.
The Mosaics and the Arts
There is not a single corner or surface of Euphoria art land which is not covered by the most wonderful mosaics or different arts.
I truly enjoyed my self-organized scavenger hunt, finding lovely Buddha statues hiding behind big green leaves, dragonflies, lizards and cows built of drift wood.
The end
All in all, it was a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience, I can only highly recommend it to everyone.
